Progressive Speech Pathology requires a General Practitioner (GP) referral for the following:

Rebatable services under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan [formerly Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan]

Bulk-billed services through the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)

A referral from an Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Specialist is required prior to Speech Pathology voice care.

A Doctor's referral is required for a Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) examination.
Progressive Speech Pathology's service fees are inclusive of consultation, local travel & reporting time.
Depending on your level of cover or eligibility, you may be able to claim a rebate for Speech Pathology. Progressive Speech Pathology is registered as a provider with Private Health Funds, Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) & Medicare for the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan [formerly Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan] Allied Health initiative.
Currently consultations are available during business hours on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
